  Outside of the hotel the area is quiet with a few bars on the seafront, but nothing to attract groups wanting to spend their holidays staggering from bar to bar. The beach is shingle and the tide doesn't seem to come all the way in but is clean.

  There are 2 pools, a kids pool with moderate slides and a paddling pool (for smaller kids) on the Zoraida Park side and a leisure pool on the Zoraida Garden side, both with supervision, both are clean.

  There are 4 themed restaurants on the complex, grill, Asian, Mediterranean and Italian (shared with the neighbouring Zoraida Garden hotel) that do buffet-type snacks during the day as well as breakfast and you can book 3 of them during the week for 1 sit down meal each. There is also a buffet restaurant that does meals most of the day from breakfast to evening meal. The food throughout is good and varied, from salads and cold meats to hot meats, fish and vegetables, breads and sweet pastries and cakes.

  The hotel is great for families and is used a lot by Spaniards. The rooms are kept clean and have 2 queen size beds, a decent size for 2 people, as our 2 rooms were, but would probably be a squeeze for 4. The air conditioning keeps the room beautifully cool after a day in the sun and the door to the balcony keeps outside noise to a minimum (we overlooked the kids pool with waterslides and could barely hear them). The only downside is the lack of shower mat or non-slip surface in the bath.

  Second time here for an all-inclusive holiday. Lovely people. Immaculately clean. Huge range of food. Great facilities. Love this place. Highly recommended

  The waiting staff and bar staff are all friendly and hard working and we saw no sign of favouring the Spanish customers over us.

  There is entertainment on a night in the Zoraida Garden area, by the pool, for kids until about 10pm then general entertainment acts (singing / dancing / magic) after that.

  There are 4 seat / 4 wheel 'bikes' to hire nearby and a cycle path separate to the walking path along the seafront which stretches a good couple of miles either way. There is a small supermarket next to the Zoraida Garden.
